The focus on women farmers recognizes their crucial role in agriculture and ensures that they are actively involved in climate resilience efforts. Empowering women with knowledge and skills contributes not only to their individual well-being but also to the resilience of their families and communities and the organization’s goal of addressing climate change. In our Climate Justice program, we conduct educational programs on climate-smart agricultural practices, equipping women with knowledge and skills to adapt to changing environmental conditions and enhance agricultural productivity. Our organization conducts workshops to support women farmers in adapting to the changing climate of our environment. Equipping women with skills and information on climate-smart practices enhances their capacity to adapt to changing environmental conditions.
The emphasis on climate resilience in agriculture aligns with the broader goals of our climate justice program, which recognizes the vulnerability of agriculture to climate change impacts. Building resilience in the agricultural sector is critical for ensuring food security, livelihood sustainability, and the well-being of women and the communities we serve.
